Natural Dye Practice Course
Learn how to dye at home with natural colour.

This 4-week journey provides a shared space to learn the basic steps of natural dyeing, so you can do it at home in your kitchen.

Practice extracting colour from plants, as well as key principles such as scouring and mordanting to give you stronger, longer-lasting colour.

o Week 1: Preparing your fibre & understanding the basics

o Week 2: Extracting dye from plants using various methods

o Week 3: Dyeing your fibre & revealing the colour

o Week 4: Extending the colour possibilities using household products

Dye your own garment
Refresh one of your own garments with natural dyes in a relaxed, hands-on session. Bring along a piece you’d like to breathe new life into, and we’ll guide you through the process of overdyeing using plant-based materials.

Bring a garment to dye. Leave with a sense of pride and an item you’re excited to wear again and again!

Bandana Workshop

In this relaxed 2-hour session, you’ll experiment with natural dyes to create your beautiful own organic cotton bandana.
